Screen Printing Using Tape
This piece of work is screen printing but where I used tape to block out parts of the screen so that only part would be covered with the red paint giving it a layered effect. I then tried out various parts of the print on T-Shirt designs, I did this to show how that print would look printed onto clothing.
Technical Drawings for Final Collection

Four out of the seven garments will have a aspect of print on them, the print that you can see in the background of the drawings is the print which I will be using to print onto my garments.

Toile for Trousers
This toile is one of two pit of trousers which I will have in my final collection, the reason they have a diagonal line down them as the bottom part of the trouser I am have as separate pattern piece as i want to print the same print as what is going onto the previous skirt design. I am using that print throughout various clothing pieces on my collection.

Digital effects
These pieces i did digitally using illustrator to produce the outline of an image o that it is just black and white, after that i then copied the image into photoshop and then changed effects and different brush times and images to fill in parts on the lines to produce these 8 different images all using the same image but just digitally editing them to make them all different and more interesting.
Block Printing
For this piece of work i took various parts of the print that i am using and used part of that print to block print with, after engraving in the print that i was happy with, I then printed using acrylic paint onto white paper. finally I added ink wash to parts to produce more unique prints.
Batik Using Print
I experimented more with different kinds of print along with trying out batik on top of my print and then using a color wash over the top of the batik to produce a more interesting pattern.
Screen Printing
This piece is screen printing using the print that I'm using within my Final major project. Although my collection that I am doing is a monochrome collection I decided to test out what colours would look like with the black and white print.
Print Clothing
This piece of print work, is a range of prints that I created using only the colours red, blue and green. these prints where produced using ink and colors washes. I did a range of different prints. After producing the prints. I then used the print as if was a print on various pieces of clothing as you can see on the two figures dressed in the printed designs.
Screen Printing on fabric
I tested out screen printing on a range of different fabrics to see which one would be best to use for the lining of the silk paper weaved bag, The screen print is the print that I am using through out my work for my final major project.
Observational drawings
These drawings are a collection of object that you can find at the beach, from shells, twigs, seaweed and stones I chose a selection of these objects to draw so that I could link it within my beach projects.
Beach Project Outcome
This piece of work reflects the least piece with the 6 images on. This textiles piece was made from a range of fabrics, threads and wool. Beach Project
Paper Dress Project
This is project form the first year of my fashion course which is where we had to come up with a design based on the heritage from where you are from, which is sunderland. You then had to choose an iconic building or structure I decided to base my paper dress on the Angel of the North. I used the iron metal ripples thats in the structure of the Angel of the North to inspire my work. I did this by portraying the ripples as folds in the paper and what you can see on the paper from my sketchbook is the finished product.
Paper making bag design
This piece is an image double image from one of my sketchbooks, from a project that I'm currently doing. Which is my designs for a weaved silk paper bag. On the left hand page it shows you the designs that i have in mind for the bag and also how I'm planning on putting it together. on the right page it is the first of about 10 other weaved paper designs I did this to show how different paper weave and what effect you get from them.

This is a piece of work that I made using illustrator and photoshop. The print that you can see is part of the print that I'm working with throughout for my back drop in my final major project. I did a range of colours to test out what it would look like with the different use of colour.
